LSCM

Synchronization with the control signal of the in-line inspection system realizes high-speed online measurement of electrical characteristics and optical properties.

OVERVIEW

LSCM

This device performs high-speed measurement and sorting of LED electrical and optical characteristics while synched with control signals from the LED production line inspection and sorting system. The LSCM then provides that pass/fail information to the system. The LSCM is equipped with the function to test both electrical and optical characteristics by applied voltage and current to the LED. This test device was designed to integrate test functions required by the inspection and sorting system into one compact body.
The LSCM uses I/O signal control lines to feedback test start and pass/fail results to the inspection and sorting system and also runs tests synched to the system timing. The LSCM also uses the accessory software library (DLL) to inform customer software of acquisition of measurement and pass/fail result data or measure- ment and pass/fail condition data.
The LSCM uses the uniform diffusion polychromator technique to make distortion-free spectroscopic measurements that acquire highly accurate light source color information based on JIS (CIE) with device variations below 0.004 for all 3 RGB colors on XY chromaticity coordinates per JIS Z 8724.
